Two-story elevated home under construction, its wood posts standing on Ty-Rite anchors

Ty-Rite Anchoring System · Invented by Tab Driggers

Stop burying your posts.

The Ty-Rite post anchor holds your posts off the dirt and out of the concrete, so water has nowhere to sit and rot has nowhere to start. Designs by Vision sells it and installs it across the Florida Panhandle, the Gulf Coast, and the Alabama Wiregrass.

How it works

Built above ground: keep posts out of concrete and soil

A post that sits in wet soil or a concrete hole stays damp, and that is where rot starts. Ty-Rite is a post anchor that takes the wood out of the ground. The anchor goes into the footing, the post sits on the anchor, and no wood ever touches the dirt or the concrete.

01

Set the anchor

The Ty-Rite anchor is set in the footing, so the concrete holds the steel, not the wood.

02

Stand the post

The post drops into the anchor and is fastened in place, held above grade.

03

Build up

Frame the barn, home, fence, or deck as usual, with every post kept up out of the wet.
